CLASSMATE BIO

The road since High School has taken me to a BA from Lawrence University, MA from Northwestern University and travel in Europe. Ken and I met when I lived in Chicago and was still in Graduate School. We married in 1987 and bought our 90 acre hobby farm in Fremont. At first it was a cattle farm, but after a tornado took down our barn one night, that all changed. We transformed the cattle ranch to a wildlife area with many ponds, pine trees and trails. In the winter we make cross county ski trails. We have deer, turkey, pheasant, geese, ducks and a variety of other 'critters'. We no longer have any domestic animals besides our dogs and cats. We raise and have trained AKC Labs for field events and have a web page about that.

I have worked primarily as a psychotherapist or Masters level Psychologist for 20 years. Currently I am contracted Clinical Supervisor for Lutheran Social Services and work part time for the Employee Resource Center (an EAP organization). The part time work offers a sort of early retirement. I enjoy developing web pages, working on genealogy, playing my various instruments and doing projects around the farm. Ken and I enjoy biking and traveling.

I graduated from Lawrence University in 1980 and received my MA in Psychology from Northwestern University in 1985. After spending some time in Chicago I returned to the Fox Valley. I've worked as a Psychotherapist and am currently employed by Touchpoint Health plan as Clinical Reviewer for Behavioral Health. Ken Dollevoet and I married in 1987 and we have a 90 acre hobby farm in Fremont. We've planted thousands of pine trees, have 3 horses, several dogs, a game farm and 10 ponds. We have trained and titled our Labradors in AKC Hunt Tests and have placed pups all over the country. I made a web page at http://personal.pitnet.net/LDoll for our Game farm and Kennel. I enjoy playing and recording music and have taken up dulcimer, mandolin, bass guitar in addition to guitar. I also enjoy traveling to Europe and have made several friends in Britain. I think it will be a lot of fun to see old friends at the reunion.
