CLASSMATE BIO

Kristi Schmitz

My husband, Kurt, and I have been married almost 18 years now. I have a degree in English and secondary education, and my husband teaches math at Fox Valley Technical College. We have four children, Paul, 13, Kate, 11, Marie, 8 and David, who just turned 4. During the last 12 years I have been at home raising my family. Five years ago we began home educating our children, and are thoroughly enjoying our ongoing learning adventure! After a short time living in Milwaukee, we moved back to the Appleton area, and then, three years ago, purchased my parents' home when they decided to downsize. So, I am now living in the home I grew up in!
