June, 2006:

It has been a busy 5 years … small world stories Jessica is working for Scott Griesback as an RA for UW Stout, saw Val at one of the many quilt shows I attend, and the girls have many friends attending UW Stout ... who's parents knew me when … I went back to work full time (with having two at UW Stout) as an interior designer/manager of a small furniture and gift store called the Amish Barn in Delafield Wisconsin … many of you may know it as the smiley barn … the smile is gone but yes that is the location right on I94 and hwy 83 … so if you are in the area stop in and say Hi ... I hope to stop in at the reunion … John’s nephew is getting married the same day in Neenah … hope to be able to sneak away … thanks again Brad for doing all of reunion work …

Old...

John and I just cerebrated our 19th wedding anniversary by going back to the church we were married in. For the past 16 years I have had the luxury of being a full time mom to Jennifer 16 soon to be 17 and Jessica 15. Part time I have had my own interior design business for 14 years and was an evening instructor at WCTC in the interior design department for 10 years. I went to work for the girl’s high school to be on their schedule and to be able to attend all the concerts, fast-pitch softball games, tennis matches, and track meets. I have been enjoying gardening, quilting and sewing (lately making homecoming and twirp (spree) dresses for the girls). I’m still active with the Mount Mary Alumni Association and the Starving Artist Show. Hope to see everyone at the 30 year reunion as we have a conflict for this one.
