THE REUNION WILL BE SATURDAY, JUNE 2ND FROM 7:00 TO 12:00
AT THE PAPER VALLEY HOTEL. Heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, disk
jockey and presentations are the plan. Price to be announced (the
price goes down as more people attend). Just in case you would like
to spend the evening we have rooms blocked off in the name of
“Appleton East 76” at the Paper Valley. Call 920-733-8000 to get the
main desk and set up your reservations. Send us an e-mail letting us
know if you plan on attending the reunion. Be sure to spread the
word! Check back soon and often!

To get
loaded into our system so that we can locate you for the reunion you
need to do three things. 1) IMPORTANT: Send an e-mail to
ae76@pobox.com with your Last Name, Maiden Name, First Name,
Address, Phone, best e-mail address, contact information on fellow
students and any other important information such as good stories
from the good old days. Similarly, include any ideas for the reunion
in your e-mail. 2) Log onto www.classmates.com and register
yourself, but do not pay the $29 that they request to become a
member as we can read your information without your payment. 3)
Optionally, log onto the Appleton School System web site and give
them your information for their web site at
www.aasd.k12.wi.us/east/1976.html. Unfortunately, the Appleton web
site can’t be used for sending letters or e-mail, but should be a
stable place to keep information on our classmates. Remember that
funny stories and anecdotes about others are required! Teachers of
the 1976 era--be sure to let us know where you are, what you are up
to and how the reunion team may contact you. So far no teachers have
responded and it just won’t be as much fun without them.

We are
seeking your help! If you can help us with the reunion in any way
and from any state please let us know. Chair positions needed to
fill include: treasurer, venue, food, program director,
entertainment, music selection, presentation editor, communications,
student directory editor and phone callers. Please send inquiries to
the e-mail address at the top. The team is starting to build so get
your name in now!
Ideas and

Roy
Mueller asked to volunteer as chairperson to set up a golf outing on
the same weekend as the reunion. Kevin Schommer expressed interest
in a golf outing, as well. Please send us your feedback on your
interest on a golf outing, exact day preference (Sat or Sun), venue
and format. Respond as soon as you can to ae76@pobox.com since we
are running out of time to book events at golf courses.
